In 1987 Derrick May started Transmat Records, which helped trace the blueprint of modern dance music. Early Transmat artists included a young Stacey Pullen, Carl Craig, Laurent Garnier, Bang the Party, St.Germain, Advent, Joey Beltram, John Beltran and Aril Brikha just to name a few.
Come celebrate history with Derrick May in his first Footwork appearance.

Derrick May @ Wallace Studios in 2006 was in the top 3 parties of 2006 for me. Love the mix of chicago/funky house and techno this guy plays.
edit: OMG I just realized that I'm actually going to be here for this! I'll most likely be checking this out then.
There are a lot of DJs on the bill though. How long is May going to be playing for? |
