Seriously, this is ing perfection.
So many feelings painted in one song it's unreal.
Deffo one of my fav songs ever. |

When a song is played during the climax of a masterpiece like Heat....hard to argue he's made anything more beautiful. |

That comes close, it's very very good indeed.
But something ab out this make me like it more.
Also His track Lily is very overlooked. |

This track was on an X-Files episode, I think it was when Scully's daughter died (or someone died close to her..sister or mother) and they were barring her...it was quite spooky played in the background so every time I hear this track I think of graveyards at night.
Moby is the type of artist where his lesser popular..less well known songs/compositions are typically better than most (not all) of his more popular songs. |

If I recall correctly, I believe this was the episode where Mulder discovered that his sister was actually killed by a kidnapper/pedophile (or something to that effect), and not aliens. I believe he went to visit the graveyard and saw his sister's ghost, and My Weakness was playing in the background. I only ever saw the episode once (during its original airing), but apparently it left enough of an impression that I still have the same association. |

The exception being Natural Blues imo, superb track.
There's a mash-up of God moving over the face of the waters, and In a State by Unkle on the 4cd release of self defence, it's incredible stuff. That track should prove anyone who says electronic music lacks emotion wrong. |

Moby opened with it when I saw him a few years back. It was the one track I wasn't expecting at all, and as a result the feeling I had when it first came up was immense. Chills, goosebumps, huge shiver down the back of my spine and watery eyes. One of the defining moments that a natural high from music is unlike any drug. ing ace. |

UNKLE's Self Defense box set is available digitally on Beatport but it lacks a bunch of tracks from the CD releases, including the cool Moby/UNKLE mashup which was originally made for UNKLE's UNKLEsounds DJ-mix CD "Edit Music For A Film" and was later released in full on the UNKLE box set.

I Don't like :(
Maybes I just too obsessed with the original?
It sounds cheaply done, imo. |
