Calling all MWTA foodies...

seneca
what are some of your favorite restaurants and a dish or two from there? Doesn't have to be just in Chicago...

My list in no particular order

South Coast (BYOB Sushi... super duper mega high quality fish)
If I had 1 last meal on earth it would be from here; Miso Soup, 2 pieces of Fatty Hamachi, 2 pieces of Fatty Salmon, 1 Coast Crab Maki and 1 White Dragon Maki.

Francescas Forno (Great Italian and not expensive)
Their Spaghetti al Funghetto is the ing bomb!

Rock It Bar and Grill (American Contemporary)
Lobster Burger + Truffle Fries makes for an amazing meal. 50% off on Monday nights too for Industry folks like us makes it a bargain. Just show your check stub!

Zapatista (Upscale Mexican)
Some of the best Chicken Enchiladas I have ever had. Blake Jarrell will back me up on this one ;)

Mesa Grill Las Vegas (Southwest American)
Owned by Iron Chef Bobby Flay, he hit me with one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. Red and Black pepper crusted Filet. It was mild at first but had this lingering heat in the back of your throat well after you we finished with your bite! It was fabulous!

50% off industry mondays is all you gotta say to me! favorite: filet mignon skewer + truffle fries.

tango sur
steak. awesome steak. i can confidently say that any steak you get there will be delicious.

joy yee's noodle shop
awesometastic fruit drinks with tapioca (non-alcholic, but still awesome) - i always get the coconut with tapioca and grass jelly one. favorites: spicy baby squid calamari platter... well, the only thing i wouldn't recommend is the chap chae eel.

cafe iberico
they make their own sangria, and it's the best i've ever had. i prefer the red to the white. entrees aren't nearly as good as the tapas. my favorites: seafood salad, baked goat cheese. if you're not a fan of seafood, your meal options are cut by a good 2/3.

william tell (southwest suburbs)
good only, and i mean ONLY for sunday brunch. a buffet featuring crab legs, pate, oysters, hand-carved roast beef, waffles, baked brie with fruit, and a whole bunch more all with unlimited champagne. mmmmmmmmmm.
Ben Brown
Wiener's Circle
delobbo
Big Mac / Chicken Selects (tastes especially good at 6am on a Saturday morning)
Wendy's (their Spicy Chicken is particularly exquisite - the mandarin oranges are also worthy of mention)
TBK (words are very unecessary)
Taco Bell (you just have to hit that "spot" sometimes)
Allende (haven't been there in a long while - tastes best when drunk - I guess you could say the same for the rest as well)

7-11 also has some good sandwiches for late-night consumption.
