Student flying to London on NYE

Cheers everyone :)
I'm mostly on the studio and promo side of this site, but will hopefully get some friendly replies here. I am a 21-year old American student that will spend a semester studying in England and I'm thinking about flying into London on December 31st morning.
Would anyone like to show me around / allow me to accompany them for NYE festivities? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I guess so, provided I'll be in town, I haven't got any plans yet,
depends on what you wanna do, I think it'd be good idea to go to
