One of the best nights of music I've heard out this year - Milo did a great job with the techy/tech-house opening slot, Dave played what I thought was a bit too bangin' for early, but it was an epic, epic set regardless.
Punisher's set was unreal - I don't think I've heard a live P.A. that good, ever. Her ability to just switch between the housey sounds and just really melodic, fun techno is uncanny. I will definitely be making every effort to see her perform again soon.
And as far as Joris? Epic. He flowed so well from the vibe Punisher had laid down, and really, really brought the tech-house in sick fashion. Absolutely terrific booking, great turnout (even with Garnier just down the street), and tons of fun seeing everyone again (as well as meeting some new faces - Max it was great to finally meet you). |
