My group got to Ruby around 11:30pm and I can't believe how loooooooooooong the line was to get it. Thank gawd we knew some peeps that were already in the front of the line so we were able to sneak in. Some people I spoke to inside later on told me that there was a 45 min wait to get in. I dunno but I think it was SOLD OUT last night.
Alain did a fine job holding off the place that wanted to explode. The vibe last night was full of energy. It seems like everyone just wanted to dance. Finally Benny came on at 12:30 and the place just exploded. I got lost in the middle of the dance floor just bouncing from one person to another. Everyone was having a great time. Benny threw everything. I loved the way he started w/ minimal-techy then went crazy with some fresh prog at the end. Fresh - Fresh tracks last night. From funky, dirty to banging. I dunno what he had on the booth both he was playing round with the effects a lot. He owned everyone at Ruby last night. Last night definately made it into my top ten best party so far this year! |

| great night of partying last night... we got to ruby at 10 and heard alain throw down a wicked set, one of my favorites from him. we saw some funny ass early on in the crowd, like a breakdancer who accidently scissor-kicked some oblivious chic and took her to the ground :wtf: (she was ok btw) the place filled up hella fast and by the time the stragglers in our group arrived at 11:30, there was a line rounding the block and a sea of bodies surrounding the front lobby. there was definitely more people wanting to get into the club than the club could hold. i had no idea benny had such demand in this city! the place was pretty damn packed inside too. when benny got on the crowd was completely sucked in. it was a great vibe for a saturday night at ruby. thanks to all who wished me a happy bday and bought me drinks :crazy: |

Just saw this!
Such a fun night! Probably one of my most fun set there, I was even surprised that Ruby Skye turned the flood lights on twice during my set
I never went outside, at least not until much later - but people kept telling me it was absolute madness! I remember looking up at the floor at around 11:15pm and the floor was already slammed!
