Aksel Schaufler is the dj and producer hidden behind Superpitcher one of the heavywight artists from the german label Kompakt. He's given a different touch to dance music, something rarely seen these days. His sound is influenced as much by minimal with a clear pop nature as by all the German electronic school (from Kraftwerk to Mike Ink), but Aksel transforms it with his personal style, something you can find in his own songs like “Heroin” or “Tomorrow” or in his remixes for artists like Tocotronic, Dntel, M83 or DJ Hell.
