Willy Wonka has released some more golden tickets!!

Summadayze Charity Tickets
Future Entertainment would like to announce the release of a very limited number of charity tickets to Summadayze – New Years Day 2008.
As well as donate well-needed funds to charity, the purpose of these tickets is to slow down, or make some impact on ticket scalping. Ticket scalpers have been ripping off genuine event patrons for years. Not only do they profit from the patrons desire to attend events, they also rip-off artists and cause problems for event promoters. In most cases the scalpers typically target a sellout event by buying multiples of tickets and then on selling them at a huge profit. Current Australian law does not prohibit this practice. Future Entertainment, with the help of Ticketmaster, are hoping this will help keep ticket prices down on auction sites. This strategy will attempt to limit the profits available to scalpers whilst ensuring that event patrons are able to buy tickets from a trusted seller.
Future Entertainment will be working with the following organisations:
Ticketmaster Australia’s premier ticketing agency
Reach www.reach.org.au: is a registered youth charity that has helped a staggering 350,000 teenagers since their inception in 1994. Reach aims to provide support and instill self belief in young people and provide them with an environment that encourages trust, openness and the confidence to pursue their dreams. Reach will receive a donation from the proceeds of sold Summadayze Auction tickets to assist in their work with Australia’s youth.
People and Parks Foundation www.peopleandparks.org is a new not-for-profit charity listed on the Environmental Organisation’s Register that links ‘People to Parks’. It encourages a healthy environment, a healthy community and a healthy lifestyle and runs programs to give people opportunities to learn about and look after Australia’s great natural spaces. The Peoples and Parks Foundation will also receive a donation from the proceeds of sold Summadayze Auction tickets.
Future Entertainment believes that the medium to long term result of its strategy will be to force ticket scalpers from its events by making scalping future tickets unprofitable and uncertain. This can only be good news for the ticket buying public, mostly younger fans, who have been affected by scalpers for many years. |

| sorry to ask a stupid question, but where is the auction being held? on those two sites or where? had a quick look on both and couldnt come up with too much info let alone place a bid... any more info please? |
