hey y'all! haven't been around for quite some time!!

it's because i'm transitioning from Amsterdam to Chicago... an dthis song basically represents my transition... it has some real atmospheric stuff in the intro...then goes bass-heavy prog.... i still have to fix up the break...but besides that, i'm wondering how i could turn this into a more danceable track....

http://iamspace.hyves.nl (press play on my musicplayer, its supposed to be Back in Chi)

much love and respect,

Cool track, the main flaw is the sounds. They're missing something, they sound very dry and unprocessed.
You could add some reverb and delay to make them more warm and atmospheric.
It definately needs a stronger kick. Keep working on it, it has potential.

great! i totally understnad what you're saying.... i am still in the proce3ss of adding the wetness, eqing some more here and there.... and trying to make it more atmospheric! wlel, i have some sort of a ''strong'' kick... i can't get it any harder? :-x i'll have to figure this one out ;)

any more?

wow... well i guess that is the last update I can do on the track... .

my laptop officially died.... and my back up of the track is corrupted....

there goes all my samples.........:nervous:

 oh nooo!!! Thatīs bad! But not a catastrophe.īCouse it sounds great just the way it is! The atmosphere is remainding a bit of Purple Curse, which is awesome! I really enjoyed it! Well done Nico!

I hope you are doing well in Chicago!

Nice flow, try EQ'ing some of the ranges in the kick and clap to make them stick out!
