There was another thread on it, but I can't seem to find it - though I seem to remember someone (chach?) saying it was brilliant.
It isn't. It was the biggest ing waste of money I have ever made in my life.
Metroid in 3D = Awful. Period.

I am just curious about this, how many of the other Metroids have you played?
I've grown up on the game and played/beat everyone on every console. I was tempted to get a Wii for this... but haven't yet.
Could you elaborate more on your discontent? |

I thought Gears of War was "the biggest in waste of money in your life".
Your expectations are way to high. You need to chill more and stop giving excellent games reviews. Your giving everyone that might enjoy a perticular game the "bad impression". Just because it didnt meet your ty expectations. |

I love the Metroid series. 1, 2, Super, Fusion, Zero Mission - I've played and beat them all many, many times.
The Metroid Prime games, on the other hand, I have tried so ing hard to get into, and they just fail every single time - and the Wii version is without a doubt the most complete failure of them all.
The control is utter balls, the atmosphere is stale and sterile (the mood is anything but "metroid"), and in general it just feels like a poorly controlled movie with loads of boredom and backtracking in it.
Awful in every sense of the word, I can't believe I initially chose it over Bioshock. 
Edit: And Tweek, you can right off with your "GOW" nonsense, the entire world has seen how shallow that game is - join the rest of us. |

| The thing is, I post as often if not more often about games I'm enjoying than the ones I don't like - it's just that this forum is so littered with gimp fanboys who can't take the slightest criticism, which leads to the incessant whining when anyone criticizes one of your precious franchises. |

| Wtf how are the controls utter balls, probally used the wii controls better then any other games. And back tracking who cares every metroid "prime" games has had that no big deal. Is it to difficult are you getting frustrated? I really cant understand how you would act like this game is garbage. What were you expecting, a ty pixelated side scrolling adventure?? |
