The Toronto "scene" (if you can EVEN call it that) has been an embarassment for years now.
Having Paris Hilton at Guv does not surprise me at all. It's quite clear that the government of Ontario and Canada, the city council, and the club owners really don't care about the scene or about a healthy social life and nightlife. It also seems quite clear that Charles isn't overly concerned about the rep and image of Guv given that it won't be around for much longer.
I might make it out to see B & J though. If Jaspa and Piet haven't met Paris yet, and they do that night they will get quite a laugh :D . |

Wow...how so very lame...not really sure what Guv was thinking on this one. So I get if they had her host a Friday hip/hop/r&b night but really on a Spin Saturday when you have B&J?? Gimme a break...
I really love how the night is promoted as PARIS HILTON feat. music by some guys named Blank & Jones... So basically she'll get up on stage for a grand total of 30-40 mins, do her stripper dance and disappear. Yay for Paris...she has nothing to do with the music or the Saturday night Spin crowd. C'mon guys surely you know your crowd by now and if you're gonna do something like this, don't do it on a night when you have two of the greatest trance DJ/producers spinning. Give your faithful Spin crowd some credit...
