I do hope the new promoters do change some things around. although reading the smile card flyer it mentions his chart topping hits "call on me" and "proper education". yes that may be true and all, but prydz is more known for his underground stuff from pryda with many of his pryda singles charting always in top 10 if not #1 on sales charts for vinyl and on beatport, that kind of ticked me off when I read it, since I am not going to see him for his data single hits but his pryda and cirez d stuff which I know he will play.
reviews have been great so far for his NA tour, so looking forwards to going.
I do hope the sound is better, when I saw tongy at sonar here last time, the sound system at sonar was weak, almost noisy and unclear at times, plus the music cut out near the end lol.
also will be hitting up axwell on the 26th, his shows are always good and never dissapoint.
bah i hope water doesn't cost an arm and a ing leg again at sonar. :whip: |

you know, I wish your bumps were a bit more informative.
Like how you plan to bring new quality sound or have drink specials.
"This Saturday" just doesn't cut it for me on a $45 ticket :p |

LOL. Alrighty then.
We are DEFINITELY bringing in extra sound and lighting to the space -- we ALWAYS step up production no matter where our shows are.
As for drink specials... I have no clue... I'll find out what the club has planned - that typically isn't something that promoters setup. |

I saw Prydz on Thanksgiving at Stereo, he ing destroyed the place. The reviews from Toronto the night before were somewhat weak, but we all knew he'd bring out the dirt for Montreal, and believe me did he ever.
I lol heavily at the people there to hear "call on me" -- in Montreal he played HARD. I didn't leave the dancefloor for a minute for his entire set, and it was easily one of the better performances I've see in the past few months (and believe me there have been a lot of sick bookings in Montreal).
You guys are in for a treat! |
