Tbh, if he has a written contract that says "don't record my sets" then they shouldn't have done so.
I wouldn't be happy either, but I wouldn't sound so gay about it.
I think a lot of whats wrong with dance music comes from live sets being recorded and tracks being ripped. A lot of the magic of going to clubs to see dj's has been lost on the clubber because their hearing dj's play tunes months before they ever see them in person, so there is little surprise element in hearing great tunes.
I can respect the fact he doesn't want his sets recorded and i can respect him for being a great dj, but he does go over board with this rant.. |
