As for this DT set, I had to adjust the volume on my mp3 player many times because the levels were terrible, beatmatching was sloppy at times and track selection was ok, but nothing spectacular. Not to mention his 'tricks' sounded mostly off and made the set sound awkward in general.

That's just my opinion. If you like trainwrecks in mixing, hey, good for you. Might as well just hire a monkey to put in cds because for most people, occassional slip ups in transitions is acceptable, but really noticeable ones multiple times is just sloppy.

A good mixing without a good track selection is worth nothing I agree, but most of us hold a PROFESSIONAL DJ to a minimum standard of technical skills, which generally incl. consistent mixing.

i didnt hear any trainwrecks. a trainwreck used to be when beats completely clashed and sounds like crap. but to overly anal robotic beatmatching machines known as wannabe djs, a trainwreck means when the beats are slightly off for a moment and isn't perfect. normal clubgoers (human beings) dancing their ass off don't completely stop and walk off when they happen to hear beats not aligned scientifically perfect. other dj's and trainspotters and various other douches from the internet in the crowd will ignore the fact people are having a good time and instead harp on a non perfect beatmatched transition, shake their heads and be snobs. normal club goers don't do that, they're just having a good time. an amateur dj not respecting a pro dj because of not perfect beatmatching because they are holding them to a higher minimum standard of technical skills is silly when they cant entertain a crowd nearly as well. too much focus on something that doesn't need nearly as much attention as it does. ive said this before many times, peeps need to take off their judgement hats and put on their party hats. the best state of mind for appreciating what is good music is when you are the least judgemental.

DT has always received tons of respect for his ability to work a floor. now suddenly because of his gay ass crappy personality in this letter, the focus shifts to anything that can be pointed out as bad in his set. amazing. wait, no is not, this is tranceaddict.

By your own definition there are several trainwrecks in that Tenaglia set - which leads me to wonder, have you even listened to it, or are you just talking out of your arse?

lol you take this waaaay too serious man, i was assuming ableton because you started a thread title ::::::::::::OFICIAL ABLETRON THREAD ALL INFO IN HERE GAIS:::::::::::: :: and i always hear clovis saying beatmatching is soooOO child's play, even his 3.5 yo red headed step brother can pull it off, clearly trying to justify his ableton use, which is fine because he's right but my point regarding dj technique still stands

rjt why do you get so hurt on the internet? <-- serious question
RJT
There you go assuming something again. Don't blame me for preferring accurate representation of myself as opposed to your nonsensical blathering.

;)

Edit: And that thread was deleted specifically because of my not wanting to waste my time on cunts like you :)

Edit:

Nevermind.
