Danny Tenaglia is God.
If his sets leak, it's the apocalypse.
Gay people can't act like grown-ups. |

None of what you posted justifies acting like a child, nor does it convince me that acting in such fashion will effectively stop this from happening again (in fact I'm personally dying for an opportunity to record a Tenaglia set and get him riled up so easily).
Hell you even say yourself...

if he doesn't react this way, other clubs won't take him seriously about that issue, which he's been consisten about for years.

Wouldn't being consistently "ed over" by clubs indicate that the way he's acting is simply not accomplishing his intended goal? Also...

Most of you probably don't even know that most of the legendary house DJs in New York have been gay, so this divalicious response should come as no surprise. |
1. We all already knew that.
2. Way to force an entire group of people into a stereotype. Very open-minded of you. |

Have you ever been to a Junior Vasquez or Jonathan Peters or REAL Danny Tenaglia party? I'm straight, but some of the Junior parties that I've been to have been the most legendary parties I've ever been there, despite the fact that he turned off the music for 15 minutes and got on the mic saying "There's too many fish in the sea" (too many girls in the room)... Uh, that my friend is acting like a diva, and you know what, it makes a night with that particular DJ something special, because you never know what that DJ is gunna pull out in his bag of circus tricks (Danny waving the flags, or Junior playing a random disco song in the middle of a set)... I think it must be a New York thing, because elsewhere people laugh when Danny does something wacky, but here, we understand that as part of his act and love him more for it.
A Sven Vath set in England is a fraction of the amount of "special" that a set in his hometown would be. That's what my point is. And I say "consistently" not because he gets ed over and over and over again... You don't see DT sets all over the internet on a monthly basis... That's exactly my point, he's achieved his objective... Last time I saw a DT set was leaked was a good year and a half ago, and people later found out it was mislabeled, it was the opening DJ before him (that's why it sucked)....
And as far as knowing most NYC legendary house DJs are gay, I honestly don't think most of the people on this board know that. |

Yeah that's exactly what I said... Apparently, straight people can't act like grownups either. |

What does that have to do with anything? |

| Well, when you got guys on TA saying they didn't like a DT party because it was packed with shirtless gay guys, and complaining about him getting on the mic, and then saying they left after an hour, they obviously don't know the whole 90's diva-house scene in New York and what DJs in that era act like. Does that mean all gay people act like divas?.... NO!! Does that mean that these DJs are from a scene and a time where it was in style to act like a diva, or show attitude?.... Yes. Anyone who knows anything about Danny knows that, from the beginning, he has been anti-recording of his sets. He rose up in a different time than is now, where downloading sets didn't make someone an EDM-lover. He rose up in a time where, if you wanted to hear him, you'd show up at his beloved Vinyl club at 5 in the morning and dance the morning away. |

Definitely the latter. The poor fellow has struggled with a point since the onset, with no end in sight. |
