A very good friend of mine, and good friend to so many many people and fans, passed away today suffering health problems. DJ John Avenida, as most of you will know him by, was an amazing DJ and aspiring producer who I had the very great pleasure of making a track with back in 2005.
My condolences go out to his family and friends, and especially to his fiance Brad. My thoughts are with you. We will all miss Paul so much, and I’m sad that I never got to meet him in person.
Rest in peace mate, you were an amazing, thoughtful and caring friend. I really miss you.

Today is a sad day. Terrible to see such a breaking artist pass so suddenly like this. I was talking with Paul only a couple days ago even. He was 4 months younger than me, to the day. Really puts a perspective on things.

His real name was Paul, his DJ alias was John. |
