Review: Jeff Button & Brad Copeland- Sunset Sessions August 5th

--Jeff Button and Brad Copeland Rock the Docks--
Wow. What a day. Getting to the Docks really became quite the mission. The Demi boat cruise docked late, further from the original spot at 5 to 5. Problem- “Superstar” DJ Jeff Button had to be on the decks at the Docks at 5. And he still needed headphones. So off to my place we rush. Grab the headphones- now are looking for a cab- which eventually stops for us - and off to the Docks we go.
After a hectic search to find an unlocked door we succeed- and straight to the decks, in a sweaty mess (lol)- and bringing out the tunes in full force Jeff begins. The boat cruise group arrives and the party is slammin’. It’s great to see how much Jeff has evolved as an artist throughout the summer months. His feel for the crowd, his selection of tracks- A+ on a job well done! Can’t wait for the 19th!
7 or so rolls around- the party is kickin’ and Brad Copeland steps on to carry off where Jeff had lead the crowd so well. Haven’t heard Brad in a while and man….also a nicely evolved sound. Banging’… jumpin’… I didn’t want the party to end at 10pm….so it didn’t…. off to Paaeez we went to catch a little Johnny White and some more Demi-
All in all couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day- weather- beats- smiling faces and friends…. Definitely a top day of the summer so far…… LIV Productions have brought to the city this summer what the party scene has needed! Thank you! |

| I always have fun at the docks! And, too bad, I missed the beginning of Jeff's set. I had to eat something after the cruise to get more energy for the Sunset Sessions. It was such an amazing day! My fav party of the summer, for sure:P |

| Fun day at The Docks. The tunes were so unreal, but the sketchfactor was pretty bad... once it was dark out, it was a much better experience...since it was harder to notice things. lol...and that was only Round 2. <3 |

Yeah, any time it's an 'official boat cruise' afterparty - the sketch is increased by about triple. LOL.
Next week, it's the official Rock The Boat afterparty as well - bring your sketch goggles. ;) |
