Based on the clip I heard on beatport, I'm surprised that Diggers authorised this remix. It's very bland, adding little to the original. The previous remixes had been of the highest quality (sure, John Johnson on original b-side was weak, but Evolution, POB and Yunus were stunning).

massive remix
I liked it a lot & I read that he liked it too & sighned it on his label.

Well, the official explanation was "someone was gonna bootleg it anyway and we wanted the money for ourselves".

beats and beeps
gaspppppp

you mean two dj pop stars that leech off of co-producers sacrificed their integrity to make a dollar?

you mean two old rock stars are now sinking to ty producers low levels in order to secure a safe retirement fund?

WE DID NOT SEE THIS COMING

I always figured digweed was minimally more talented technically, but he always came off as an even bigger moneybagger than sasha. Not surprised bedrock accepted it.

Thanks! I somehow missed that in my search results.

It's good for what it is. True it does not add much.

Sums it up well.

Its an ok remix, doesnt add much, could add more. But ok though.

I admire Downey, but he should have left this alone.

He's stripped this track right down, and its lost all its cutting edge.

but would you really have considered it having cutting edge now that the original is so many years old? sure the original rocks, and so do some of the above-mentioned remixes.

this remix, imo, rocks too! if you've never heard it played out then maybe you (not you shades_of_gray in particular) should hold off until you do... it's a floor killer. svd played it last night here in atlanta and you'd be surprised what a massive reaction it got! i think it fits well with some of that "more banging" sets that particular djs play and everyone likes the origianl so much it's cool to hear this song mixed into a banging set.

just my .02... your mileage may vary.

and with respects to signing a track to make money... my thought is good for them!
