For me I remember hearing junior jack - my feeling, and modjo - lady on the radio (or much music maybe?) and really liking those songs but this was when i was like 12.....
and then stardust - the music sounds better with you (this might be mre recent i dont remeber)
i just liked those songs, didnt know that they were 'house' or even what house was at that point....
only about like 5 years later did i actually realise that these songs were part of a whole genre.....
I actually even got into hardstyle before house cuz i accidentally found a hardstyle set and kept downloading more from the same artist |

dont remember the first song, but...
i found a streaming radio website called DI.fm tuned into the psy trance channel after going through the rest and that appealed to me most, and always kept it on, i would use stream ripper to hear what i missed overnight, i loved all the sets mixed by Morlack on that channel, thats when i was in grade 8 :eyes:
then i somehow got into lighter trance, vocal trance, that stuff, not this techy stuff everyone seems to love now.
Then... i heard some sets by Sander kleinenberg and Seb fontaine which i got in a set of like 20 DVD's of sets in the mail and thats when i turned to house music and never looked back.
btw, for goood psy, www.cytopia.org |

o yeah i forgot abotu daft punk.... definitely da funk and around the world!
and yeah i think i used to listen to di.fm before i actually knew anything about the different types of electronic music... i think i used to listen to their 'hard house' station but then they got rid of it
a lisa lashes set was one of the first sets i got, and i was obsessed with it....
i would like to get it back if anyone has it....
lol, i dont know how to describe it, but it was from a few years back...... if anyone could lead me in the right direction it would be great! |

oh ho ho....
sigh....going back in the day when I was 16-17...
it started with prodigy than came breakdance tunes such as dj gonna rock the house, get freaky, superfly and rock your body by Music Instructor and I was obsessed with breakdance for a good while. |

Well,
For me it all started with ATB "9 PM" That was such a huge hit in Ukraine. I remember I bought his tape, it was such a good purchase. Still love him:P |
