You do NOT want to go to Rum Jungle. Trust me. Meat market.
Don't expect any big headliners in Edmonton any time soon, the scene here is pretty much dead right now. Very little going on.
Majestik has been going strong recently ... Fridays and Saturdays are pretty much the best nights and there's the highest chance to hear some decent trance. Also, Turbo Saturdays at Lush have some good trance, courtesy of Derkin and David Stone.
After-hours ... well there's basically Therapy (mostly house, some hardhouse on Fridays ... a lot of young kids there), Evar After (Saturdays with the Starving DJs are quite good), Climaxx (very sketchy, mostly hardhouse, a lot of disturbingly high people).
Hey EnMotion ... if you want to play at Majestik, come down on a Tuesday night and bring your records - it's their Open Turntables night. If you show up before 10pm, you can sign up and get to take turns with other people, 5 records each or something like that. Great way to get some experience playing out. |

Yeah, Lush and Majeatik are my favorite places... will probably see you there- say hi!!
With Lush you have the luxery of Rev- which is part of Lush, and than there is the downstairs- usually hip hop, and also, Therapy is just in behind there. This is a great spot to hit- you can hop around.... also, Therapy has a upstairs that they have been opening latley.

Thanks for the tips. I look forward to checking out some of these places. I'll definitely let you Edmonton TA's know which club I'll be visiting (or whichever you guys are at that weekend!!) and maybe we could meet up.
