Aaron LaCrate, born and bred on the mean streets of East Baltimore, grew up as a party dj cutting his teeth at Baltimore clubs, lofts, and warehouse parties since the age of 10 years old has been making beats in the basement.
LaCrate has recently toured the US alongside big timer and friend Lily Allen.
LaCrate is a student of rocking parties w/ uptempo bangers especially Baltimore Club music. As a kid Aaron LaCrate snuck out to underground parties in some of B-more's most notorious areas to hear some of the heaviest tunes to come of out of bodymore, murdaland. It was during the late 80's that LaCrate started collecting one of the most comprehensive party crushing record collections in the game.
Aaron LaCrate's label Milkcrate Records first major project pushes the genre into new territory, properly titled B-more Gutter music. The release features Spank Rock, Low B of Hollertronix and the inception of Amanda Blank, alongside Aaron LaCrate's brutully raw session of xxx-rated crunked out 120 bpm club cracked hyper beats - guanteed to pack any dancefloor.
B-more Gutter Music contains mostly self produced bangers like bodymore, murdaland, get um gerl, and the Debonair Samir, LaCrate, Spank Rock collabo "BLOW" making the Gutter music release a classic and garnering world wide major attention from i-D, Dazed and Confused, New York Times, HHC, Fader, Urb, The Observer, The Standard, Uncut, GQ, and NME. "B-more Gutter music is this years "Piracy funds Terrorism" the mixtape of the year" claims HHC.
The B-More Gutter music World Tour is proof of the musical explosion going on.
