Wow. I wasn't expecting what I heard at all. I've been to Surf Club for JP and Boris so far this year, both of those parties were packed. JP held it down and Boris was alright.

So, I walk in and it's fairly empty and Serge is still on the patio outside. At around 7, they start bringing in the equipment to set up on the main floor. From that point till I left at about 11:15, it was the best set I've heard in a long, long time. Probably since the last time I saw Hernan. Dude was sick. Honestly, not one bad song. It's been quite a while since I've been out and wasn't able to leave the dance floor. Pleasantly surprised. I doubt anyone else was there, but I guess if he's headlining anywhere else in the near future, you should definitely check him out. I've been out where he warms up and was never really impressed, but tonight was crazy.

I was debating or not weather to go but i was exhausted from the thurs-sat not to mention i still haven't recovered from tueaday nite. I decided to hang out out in the pool all day. One of the former promoters from Surf Club came by and we texted the guy who runs the door at Surf. At 4pm, Surf only had 389 people in there we textd him again at 6:30 and the count was 451. Its sad state affairs with Surf Club these days when on a great sunny day like yesterday that they can't even crack 600 people not to mention alittle more people for a big name DJ because Surf only did 989 with JP in early June.

They should sell that place already because its getting boring over there. They've had one successful nite and that was with Boris when they actually broke 2,000 people. Surf hasn't done 2,000 people in 3 years.

I'm done with Surf. Haven't had a good time there since 2002 when Robbie Rivera was there

I'm content with the amount of people there. I went 2 weeks ago on a Friday when Badfish was performing. I couldn't even move. I don't see the fun in that. I'll admit, last night was a little too empty for my tastes. But the crowd for JP was good for me. And it didn't seem like Boris had double the amount of people that JP did.

In anycase, I'll still go every once in a while. I have fun every time I go.

And Jayme, I'll never be a guido. I'm always the most out-of-place looking person whenever I go to any shore club. Though, I haven't been to the city since... February, I think.
