Seemed appropriate to start a thread so we can keep the talk between the two coinciding tournaments a little more organized.
Riquelme was on fire this first half against Columbia, but I'm happy to see that they're not just absorbing the pressure and actually making some good attacks. Really strange injury sustained by Crespo after scoring the penalty, but I'm happy to see Diego Milito out there after such a successful season with Zaragoza.

Paraguay was my pick from the beginning and still is. Glad to see I'm not the only one enjoying these.

Yeah, I had GolTV last year at school in Waterloo, and got access to some great games in La Liga. But there's one Scottish commentator that helps the American dude, and I have to say, he is quite possibly the most annoying soccer commentator I've ever had the misfortune to experience. He tries so hard to be Andy Gray, it's pretty sad. I don't know if he's still there, but he forced me to start watching games in Spanish instead, which is fine cause my soccer vocabulary is pretty weak.
I've been following Roque Santa Cruz for a few years now, and I'm glad to see he's finally elevated his game to another level. Hopefully, he'll head to Italy or Spain this summer and really start making a name for himself. And that Cabañas is definitely one to watch, 3 goals so far.

WOW, That's nuttttssss! This is by far one of the best goals I've seen and IMO the sickest goal messi has ever scored. just pure technique , awsome!
I'm sad now that i didn't follow the games. Will definetly try to catch the final.
