Anyone else impressed by him or have any thoughts of him?
i have only seen him twice, once warming up for armin and once warming up for kyau and albert
i gotta say he really impressed me alot
after hearing nik fish warm up for ferry (which was absolutley awful) i have much respect for the warm up dj now
for kyau and albert he warmed up perfectly by playing good music which wasnt to hard
For armin it was a bit different, i was pretty much there from the start and he played some pretty minimal influenced prog for the first hour but then from 11-11.30 really showed us what he could do playing life less ordinary and a killer remix of right here right now, he then backed off a bit for armin.
he definantly knows how to warm up a dance floor, i just hope he doesnt get categorised as just a warm up dj because the guy seems to have alot of talent to destroy a dancefloor as well |

he's not categorised as a warmup DJ, mark has been playing for years and runs future entertainment, he is playing at Dance Valley and Global Gathering in the UK. (one or the other or both i cant remember)
He's mad, and i think he should play waaaaaaaaaay more of the psy he was playing at pharmacy! :) |

remember one of his sets from a welcome party right before midnight he dropped for an angel, born slippy and 1998
and the first song after midnight was rank one - breathing (breaks dub) |

He cops from a lot of people, especially from n00bs  who criticise his cheesy sets at Famous.
I've seen him warm up for James Zabiela, play main room sets at Prince and other places, and play various big arenas such as Summadayze and Armin; he is awesome.
James can play many styles and his taste in music is excellent. |

I didn't really like his set at Armin: didn't move me at all: wasn't as bad as having to sit thru carl cox before ferry, but was a similar feeling I found-- it was probably just what he thout would warm the crowd up, and it probably worked, but i wasn't a fan :(
At Pharmacy, playing before K&A however is a completely different story- the first time (tho not the last) i've gone off to psy-- played a killer set!! really enjoyed it :D |

| yeah hasn't done much for me really, haven't seen him that much really prob 3 or 4 times; but I have always been waiting for a bigger better act so prob haven't given him a real chance! Apparently his set was good before Kyau & Albert but yeah don't really remember that much, my friend wouldn't let me stand in the same room as he was so made it hard to listen to MJ! XD But yeah his armin set did nothing for me. But again waiting for the bigger and better act I was! |
