My academic standing

I've hit rock ing bottom and the only thing I can blame is my lack of ambition. My GPA last semester was 1.25, withdrawing from 2 courses and getting a C and D in the other 2. I am now on dismissal because prior to this semester I was on academic probation which meant I needed to maintain a 2.0 GPA to continue schooling.
I'm 21 with nothing to show except a few credits in college that lead up to an undecided major. My friend's younger brothers and sisters have more to show than me and they've only been in college for two semesters. Or I have friends who are the same age and didnt start college until last semester and are already doing better than me. I've been at this for 2 years. I keep ing up. I don't know what's going to wake me up.
Anyone been here? |

Pretty much. College just wasn't enough to motivate me, so I dropped out. |

If school isnt your thing, dont waste your (or your parents) money.
Join the military or strip for a living or something. |

Yea it's really pathetic when I think about it. It's stupid reasons too, like not wanting to get up early to go to class, thinking I could skip some assignments and still mainstain a decent grade, partying, etc.
Can't drop out, that's not an option. I've tried taking a semester off too, just to get the partying out of my system. That made it even worse. I've controled that part of my life better since prior semesters, but other things seem to keep finding their way to intervene and distract me. |

I know this might sound a bit harsh, mate, but I really think you shouldn't enter university unless you know what you want to do there - meanwhile, go find a job or something. It would probably look better in your curriculum in the future, and might give you a hint of what you want to become in life :)
Edit: Don't drop out, but do find a job. |

i was not the best student my second year in college... and third.. i was on academic probation but ust last semester i got 3a's and 1b
getting ON academic probation motivated me to do good... and i dunno i guess i matured during that period. |
