What's it all about? You'd think at 13 years old, this annual club crawl (and film fest and conference) would be young, loud and snotty, but the headliners are looking a little long-in-the-tooth. Look to the 400 up-and-coming acts across 40 clubs to provide the youth, and possibly the phlegm.
Who's on stage? Big-name reunion acts Dinosaur Jr., Urge Overkill and Toronto punk legends The Diodes; young Canadian bucks Germans, Sebastien Grainger, Rock Plaza Central, Les Breastfeeders; electronic knob twiddlers Bonjay, Thunderheist and Junior Boys.
Who's the crowd? A&Rs rocking the sport-jacket-and-t-shirt-with-Converse-All-Stars look; music critics rocking the very same look, only not as attractively; fans of live music in general.
