I'm considering signing up for a GameFly membership, but I want some other people's opinions before I take the plunge.
Any of you guys have any praise or gripes about the service?

I've heard good things about them.

Use the link above and your first month with 1 game at a time is $9, or two at a time for $15.00. Give it a shot and see how you like it.
You can always cancel before you are billed again. And once you get two games, the service as basically paid for itself because game rentals are now $8+ each at Blockbuster. ;) |

| My experience overall has been good. Signed on with them just after Xmas upon receipt of the Wii. I did the free ten day trial and am still with them. With games at $60 a pop I have a hard time justifying buying games and I like the "try before you buy" element. I honestly don't buy many games but when I feel compelled to own something, getting it at a discount via the Gamefly account makes it a bit less painful. Did you check that out? You can get stuff on the cheap if you want to keep something you've rented. They have good promotional deals too. They're always cooking up some new perk or another. |
