After the overwhelming success of last year’s Salsa on St. Clair Street Festival, which attracted over 250,000 people to the streets of Toronto, TLN, in partnership with the City of Toronto, is thrilled to announce that this year’s Salsa on St. Clair Street Festival will be even bigger and better! This FREE family street party celebrating Toronto’s Latin cultures will turn over 200,000 square feet of midtown Toronto between Winona Drive and Wychwood Ave into a showcase of Latin life: pulsating music, passionate dancing, fiery foods, a Latin market, a children’s area and for the first time ever an interactive Soccer Pavilion! Join over 300,000 Canadians in celebrating the game of soccer at this summer’s biggest soccer street party. Salsa on St. Clair will feature Soccer Zones with interactive pavilions where participants can test their soccer skills and soccer exhibitions, PLUS live broadcasts of the FIFA Under 20 quarterfinal action and the Copa America final will be featured on large screen TVs throughout the festival area. Don’t miss this summer’s hottest street party!

Hillcrest Village SALSA ON ST.CLAIR!
Toronto-based event Canada’s biggest latino party
and hottest street festival

More than a quarter million fans of Latin music and culture jammed Hillcrest Village this past weekend for the 2nd annual Salsa on St. Clair Street Festival. The event is fast-becoming a Toronto tradition.

Toronto Mayor David Miller also took part in the festivities, proclaiming July 10-16 the first ever Latino Week in the City of Toronto and presenting the proclamation to event organizers on site.

“The Latino communities contribute so much to this city and we’re so proud!” said Mayor Miller. “We have people from every Spanish speaking country here. It’s so great to be here on Salsa on St. Clair celebrating everything that the Latino community is doing in this city.”

TLN Television is packaging highlights from the event for broadcast throughout the next few weeks.
