Let's remember something...
The city and the lack of quality venues is making it VERY challenging for any promoter to throw a cheaper electronica event.
The Station is one of the most prestigious venues in Vancouver... it's rental costs is 5 digits + insurance, security, etc. As a result, I'm sure you understand the need for the price.
Comparing Aquasky and The Breakfastaz (which we worked with Pound in throwing) are COMPLETELY different shows. The cost of The Breakfastaz for insance is 75% less than the cost of our sound going into The Station tonight... another words, you're not comparing apples to apples.
Ferry = world class talent, The Station = one of the best in city, Production = top notch sound and lighting... We need to pay for this some how! |

My reminder email that went out -- Hello all and HAPPY CANADA DAY! - hopefully this message finds you enjoying the amazing weather we're having this weekend.
Just a reminder that tonight at the Rocky Mountaineer train station (just off of Terminal Ave beside the Home Depot), is FERRY CORSTEN playing a 3 hour set!!!
This event has a FULL BAR including beer, highballs and premium alcohol.
Doors open at 9PM and things run till 2AM. If you haven't had a chance to pick up tickets, some are available online via Clubzone at http://www.clubzone.com/twisted and at Boomtown!

| i was a little ify on seeing this show as the ticket prices were so expensive, but im not paying $60 to see any dj, its ferry corsten!! although would have been better if it was until 3 am. but ya, can't wait!! listening to a ferry corsten set at the moment. |
