I agree that energy level towards the 2.5 hr mark was at at its lowest point. I got the impression that he built up his set like he was going for a 4-6 hr old school massive set. I personally love the darker sound that he provided but found it got teadious and repeatitive but with any progressive set your going to have to work harder at keeping the crowds energy up. Markus did the best he could but the diversity of the crowd and the tension in the air was a big downer and you got the sense towards the end of the night that there was going to be a big rumble and there was.
I think we should give a big THANK YOU TO MSH! Ferry and the boys put on a wikked show, the security was top notch, the line-ups went smooth, Ferry played a solid warm-up set for Markus. |

I honestly don't know what you are saying. I thought Markus understood the crowd perfectly and picked up the pace right away. He looked and acted just like the last time. His set was over 3 hours long which is an amazing feat for Vancouver. There was no "one more" track per se, but the last two or three I thought he was going to stop but no, he kept playing. It was after 3AM and the security was pressing Markus.

It was an AMAZINGGGGGG night!! But if I have to compare with the last time he was here, Id say overall crowd wise,set wise & venue wise...his Richards show was MUCH better. But im not hating, I think Markus's sets are always off the hook.
