Amazing
There were no seating levels. Everyone was on their feet. Quite a sight.
Production wise the event was near-perfect. Technically Tiesto is still a DJ but now it's a show. Concert is a good way to describe it. Everything was pre-planned and Tij's lighting team was basically running the show. Some visuals were specifically made for special tracks.
Oh, yeah. Kevin played what I believe might be the best set of his career. He actually finished a bit earlier than 9:30.
No trainwrecks for Tiesto but his cueing STILL needs some work. ;)
So they spun a few tracks, went on mic, said that he "played many times in Vancouver but tonight was the best," signed his Stanton's and threw them at the front row, a little bit to the right. I could almost hear people's bones cracking struggling to catch the headphones.
A few tracks on top of my head:
Tieto - Ten Seconds Before Sunrise
Deadmau5 - Jaded
Global Experience - Madras
Tiesto - Lethal Industry (Richard Durand Remix)
Tiesto feat. BT - Love Comes Again
Tiesto - Carpe Noctum
Tiesto - In The Dark
Delerium - Silence (Tiesto In Search of Sunrise Remix)
Alphazone - The Legacy
C-Sharp - The Quest
All in all it was worth it. Most of my friends lost their heads over this thing and that's all that matters.
Mr. Timberlake has a good competition now. Watch out.
More later. |
