424 Beverly Dr.
Beverly Hills

It used to be 424 club, before that it was Beverly Club, before that it was De Ja Vu.

I heard it is a FOB club. Need to save energy for the MNS

It is a FO(T)B club indeed, as even I was there (though technically, I flew into this country, and too many years ago to be called fresh) :p Anyway, Ken Spector pointed out the obvious when he said "Beverly Hills is all Persian."

Nevertheless, great show by Jes who sang (in order):

You And Me Belong (new album)
Around You (Motorcycle)
As The Rush Comes (Motorcycle)
Ghost (Deepsky)
Like A Waterfall (Solarstone)
Heaven (new album)
Deep Breath Love (hmm...)
One Moon Circling (Mark Norman)

(and special live mixes of most of those at that) while interacting one-on-one with the crowd.

That venue is decent: small size, adequate lights, lots of seating, interesting namesake aquarium. But the sound system was pretty crappy and the go-go dancers

I'll try to add links to photos and a video later on...

Her album "Disconnected" comes out next week in Europe, so I'll pick up a few copies while in Holland in case anyone wants one. I recommend it!

Pretty busy considering that it was a Sunday night with competition for the trance crowd elsewhere  The dancefloor (though not big) filled up as soon as she started performing.

No idea who the DJs of the night were! Came in a few minutes before she started; left a few minutes after. I did hear a 126-bpm remix of Rapture though :o

Not sure that I would recommend the venue, though I have to check a few things with the manager on Tuesday before I can rule it out from the places I'm currently scouting for someone...

The DJ's were all Persian. DJ Behsheed, DJ Bobby K and DJ Beny (who actually plays really good house music).

Just like every other venue it depends who the promoters are on that particular night. Saturdays usually have a upscale older crowd produced by MacAfrica. Not sure about the other nights. I agree that the sound system isn't the greatest.
