Run down of the Main room DJ's:
The main room is mixed. The two main headliners are Marco V, and DJ Jurgen...i dont need to tell anyone here that they both are both VEYR accomplished trance DJ's/Producers, both from Holland. Jurgen is really good, i saw him last Imix and he played really well....far cry from his Alice DeeJay days. DJ Morgan is a Nu-Nrg god.....Seen him a couple times, it will be a really good set, im pretty sure hes from San Fran. Next up we have Benjamin Shir .VS. Mike Groove, there both from Germany and im pretty sure they spin trance, ill try and find out more info about them for you guys. Now were into the Locals, GrooveRobber is probably one of the best DJ's in vancouver, he will proabbyl spin some funky house on the harder side, I have seen him so many times and he always gets the crowd going....really cool guy to. Oh ya GrooveRobber has release one of his productions on Tinrib records in the UK. Next is Gerald....im not a fan at all, he will spin really cheesy Hard house....this with a really flat bass line....seen him tons of times as well, i cant believe he gets booked as much as he does, hope hes on first:) . Finally is DJ Organic, hes one of the promoters....think he spins trance by the looks of the headliners he has booked.
ShyBrothers has been throwing partys in germany for a while and they just moved to vancouver, I sort of think they are hooked up with a lot of these dj's as there all from the same area. |

Ok so there are some trance DJs but now explain the fact that they have a house room and a breaks room. If more than half the DJs on the 'main stage' were trance would they not call it something else but the house room. So still I don't think there will be that much trance going on.
Please someone give me an answer to this question so I can stop bitching! This oxymoron is driving me crazy. TRANCEgate-main stage=HOUSE room.aaaaaarrrrrrggggg Did someone just up or what? |

| Man its just the name of the room, its not that big of a deal. the headliners are trance, i think thats all that really matters |

What is the big deal Jesten??? Let it go!
If they're gonna have a party with Trance, House and Breakz, they gotta put that info somewhere!!!
As to all the comments about Shybros, I'm really glad there is a new production who is actually trying to bring what Vancouver deserves!
So, I'm not only gonna go to see Marco V., but also to support SBP hoping that they will have more parties like this one! |
