alright, so i had this massive idea brewing in my brain for the last few days.. if people remember last year RJT threw a decent sized MWTA gathering deemed the "OMGWTFBBQ" that went pretty well. i would like to expand upon this and throw an even bigger party and i'd like to get a show of hands of who would be interested to travel up to milwaukee and/or spin in July around the 19-22. i'd also like to hear some opinions or ideas about the event..
what we imagined is this:
- multiple days. nobody wants to drive/take a plane to the midwest for one day and leave. i'm thinking friday and saturday.
- TA DJs having their own slots at a decent venue(s). fortunately we have a little bit of pull with that so there won't be a problem with booking.
- BBQ.
so pretty much we need to know who would be willing to travel up.. or at the very least, be about %50 certain that they can make it. otherwise i'll just drop the issue and i won't bother pursuing getting a night(s) booked or anything.
i need your guys' opinions on when in August (or late July) would be best for everyone, if multiple days sounds good, etc etc. anyone willing to spin should mention so..
finally i know it's not a whole lot of time to think about these things but the sooner we know who's interested, the better. i'd like to get a rough idea by this sunday. and i know it shouldn't be too difficult for us MWTA to meet up for a party but i'm bouncing the idea off the c0r as well. trying to make this "international" if possible (albeit far-fetched..)

| Being a mere hour and a half from Chicago, I should hope a good handful of you would be down for a party, especially given the extensive notice. :) |
