As most people on this thread are from the UK i'm just guessing here, but most of you are either on 56k modem or 128 idsn connections right? unless you are lucky enough to live an area that has cable connection which in my case won't be available to the summer..however my friend has just installed satelite which is seperate to your modem but enhances your download speeds for example you can download off normal sites at atleast 50k\s! plus it has a thing where you can request downloads at certain times of the day and it automatically kicks in at that time, and where your requests are posted is where everyone elses requests are so you can also grab there stuff to.. for example i was round his house and i see a trance enery set which was 120mb he clicked to download and downloaded within 6 mins!!! it is amazing it costs 160 quid for a years sub and approx a 100 quid for the set up... well worth lookin into, im gettin it at the end of the month! cant in wait:)
