We need to somehow expose people to australian trance music as they're driving in their car or during the daily grind. Make tunes that leave an impression so that when they happen to be clubbing in the once in a while they come out, they do come up all wide eyed over the side of the booth asking for the name of the track so they can go and buy it because it is familiar to them!! (I know this because I used to be one many moons ago.. thankfully).
I beleive that once you have the support of your local community in that way, you're name will become a commodity, raise the overall profile of the genre, and create that larger base of people which AJS1 was talking about to draw percentages from. |
