From what I've read its a bad WoW rip off with a few features that makes it cool. I've got a wow acc that isnt expired yet and I havent even gotten past act 1 in titanquest... I don't really think its worth my time.

WoW has just gotten so much more interesting then LOTR. From what pcpp said most of the enviroments are not new (true to the book etc) so its a quite cleshayed game (I know thats not It's fault but thats just the way it is)

LOTR movies will probably be better (who can tell at this stage?) but Warcraft defenitly owns the games scene.

I'm playing. The comparisons between lotro and WoW are almost exact but it is the MMORPG market and most of them are very similar. I feel that WoW's combat is a little more smoother than lotro though and the questing is too. I'm mainly playing this because a friend of mine is playing. This will be a good game to tide me over until Warhammer Online comes out.

The best reviews of it I've heard simply say it's a WoW-clone with pretty graphics and the LoTR storyline :/ Given that I can't even bring myself to log in and play VG, a supposedly revolutionary MMO, I don't think I'll bother.

Looked over the game and it didn't look all too interesting. I might give Pirates of the Burning Seas a try though.

Oh my.

Pirates! by Sid Meier was one of my fave games on the C64 - played it on the PC in DOS years later and most recently back in 2004 when another version was released. A great, great game.

I'm not sure if this thing is based on it but so far it has many similarities - I'll sign up for the beta :)

I still think a pirate can kick a ninja's ass any day.
therefore pirates eat hobbits for breakfast.
