Saw the Judge last night at Vinyl in Denver. It was argueably the best time of my life (Sahsa & Digweed earlier this year was also insane). The way the club was setup, the DJ booth was surrounded by an upperlevel bar type thing on 2 sides and then the dance floor was lower. I spent the whole night off his right flank, watching every mix and shaking his hand from time to time. I was about a foot away from him the whole night. He absolutley tore up. His energy, if you have never seen him live, is absolutley unreal.
He dropped a load of new tracks and only a few I recognized. I tried to remember alot of the unknown's he played but my memory is fuzzy. One new tune he played, Solar Factor - Deep Sonar was off the hook. Watch out for that one in the future. He also played what I believe is a new Members of Mayday release called "10 Revolution". It's a remix of 10 in 01 with some inspiring lyrics about revolution. He also played a track called "What?", not sure who the producer was, that was also pretty insane. He played many others I simply cannot remember due to my state of mind at the time. Songs I knew were Reloop - ing Society, Hi-Gate - Gonna Work It Out (obviously), that Welcome to Heaven track, and he ended with 4 Strings - Into The Night (d'tech remix). If you're never seen the Judge, see him. He is unbelievable.
I also managed to get his autograph. The girl I was with decided to take off her shirt and let me get his autograph on it (yeah, I'm that smooth). Checkout the links below.
