yeah most of the people are cool/normal/nice at dnb, but the crowd overall is more 'rough' if you will, if you bump into someone at a house event you say sorry, they say thats ok, and then you go on

if the same thing happens at dnb, half the time you'll get some guy trying to act gangster and give you some dumbass attitude, threatening to kick your ass

just my opinion, but from my experiences, dnb does attract a sketchier/rougher crowd

most of the events i have been to were big theory or destiny events, havent been to n e of the dnb at footwork or n e thing

if or when? There's a big difference between what you are predisposed to think will happen and what will actually happen.

I've been to dnb events big and small, and never had a problem with anybody - if I bump into someone, I just look at them, smile, apologize, and I get the exact same response as I would at any other event (i.e. "no problem man").

I too thought that all these kids were gangsta and , but I went regardless cause I liked the music too much. It was only after I started going regularly that I realized that the Jungle (or dnb) crowds and the Hip-Hop crowds are totally different.

I think the key is how you act towards others, not how the others are. If you show respect, there's now ay they can pick a beef with you.

P.S. DNB events at FootWork are even better than at Docks - the atmosphere is much more intimate, everyone chills and chats with everybody, and the club rinses it out like no other.

There is a concert in the Koolhaus on the same day as Freedom, so I don't know how that's going to work out

They're probably going to try and delay it till 10:30 before they let people in.

I've already made up my mind and have decided to go unless some amazing DJ comes to Toronto on the same night as Freedom

yeah true, i havent had any problems myself at DNB, i just fell there is just a more "gangsta" vibe with a portion of the people, but overall its always good times, seen some big fights at DNB but i guess that happens at the guv for house/trance events too

i think the biggest problem is just the all ages DNB crowd, well the all ages crowd just in general..... the fact that a 16 year old is out, say at the docks on a saturday night at 4am doing drugs says a lot about the kid, i know when i was 16 i was sitting in my friends basement drinking a few beers, but i grew up in nova scotia so i guess its a little different than over here hahaha, i barely even knew what DNB was until i moved here
