Hi All!!!
I have been speaking to the managers of Hush Bar @ Melbourne Central in Melbourne about a once of Trance night (tentative date Sunday 6th of May 10pm-3am)
They have agreed to host it if they can sell 250-300 tickets.
Tickets would be $15 with cheap shooters and Jagerbombs.
DJ Matty D (that's myself) will be DJing with a massive 5 hour set.
The set will include: Trance classics, some new tracks and a variety of trance styles across the 5 hours.
I personally don't think there are enough trance events in Melbourne and if this goes off, it should provide a precedent for future events at other clubs.
Yes we do have events, but not enough locals playing, mainly the big trance events with International DJ's (they are freakin' awesome though).
Anyhow, I'm canvassing for opinions and support, the more people the better. Feedback much appreciated. And if anyone wants tickets let me know, as promotion has begun no matter how small.
Let the momentum build. Long live trance.
