Poly ringtones for Canadian phones

Vandit99
I bought the same phone, thinking the exact same thing. when I got home, I open it up and started to play with the phone. I loaded up all the songs I wanted on the phone. But when I went to switch ringtone, It wouldn't let me.

I was like ummmm whats going on here? so I looked in the instructions to see how to change the ringtone. But it really didn't tell me anything new. few days later, I go back to the same rogers store where I bought the phone. I ask the guy how to change ringtones on this phone and I tell him how I can't change the ringtones.

The salesman told me, I have to pay 60 bucks to get a guy to come in and unlock the feature or I can do it for free. But I would have too switch all my mp3s to a different format. I was like ummm ok...

Wow! Thats terrible! Thank god I just bought an unlocked, unbranded one from an asian retail store and that its still quad-band instead of buying one from rogers.
