| can someone verify this? and if its true how do you select it? my tv is HD and it supports 1080i but only shows it at 480p. |

that was just a rumor...The PS2 can't do 1080i.
480P is as good as it gets for last gen consoles. It still looks pretty damn sweet. |

Yeah, the rumor was 720p at first. It doesn't surprise me that it got stretched to 1080i though. A lot of the current-gen PS3 games don't even run 1080i/1080p.
Either way it still looks amazing, hard to believe that it runs on the PS2 was well as it does. |

| I read that the game is using around 99.5% of the PS2's power. Every graphical trick and every polygon available is being used in GOW2...pushing the system to the max. |
