SOLIDARITY 2 *MAY 5, 2007* Official PrePost!

CoreyVonWaters
Last year, on April 14, 2006, five promoters came together to throw Solidarity, a beneift event to raise money for the victims of the Capitol Hill shootings in Seattle, WA. With only 11 days to plan and promote the party, they raised almost $1000 for the victims of the tragedy. It was a night that made one proud to be a part of this scene, for the DJs, the promoters, and the people who attended. It was magical.

One year later, it's been decided that the Solidarity Project deserves to be continued. That the idea of throwing an event to benefit a greater cause, of dedicating all our efforts toward something bigger than ourselves or even our scene, is not one that can die after one event.

Eight promoters have joined together to collaborate on something that, to the best of our knowledge, has never been attempted in the history of this scene. Eight of the premiere underground promoters in the southeast, joining together to raise thousands of dollars for charity.

My friends, we present this to you:

SOLIDARITY 2
Presented by 180 Degrees, DV8, Evil Empire, Evolution, Guerilla Underground, Playground, Skyline Atlanta and Technikly Funk Productions.

MAY 5, 2007

The first event to use both the new and the old Spring4th facilities. What this means to you...

*SIX AREAS OF SOUND

* Over 40 DJs, featuring an all-star lineup of the finest talent the Southeast has produced.

*Room for almost 1200 to party.

*100% of the profits from the event will go to Charity. (Benefiting charities will be announced in the party announcement, which will be made in the next week.)

Our goal for fundraising: Twelve thousand dollars.

With your help, we can do this. With your help, this night will be remembered for decades. With help, we will be able to use this party to help people in need.

This is a teaser post. Stay tuned. This night is going to be HUGE.
