| Fantastic night.....but he played half of a song to end the night....it frustrated the hell out of me...It was the Death Cab for Cutie - Marching Bands of Manhattan (Blake Jarrell Remix) and he cut it off before the breakdown and the bridge! It pissed the hell out of me...and thats how he ended his set....great set with a sour finish....ah well I'll live, he rocked it otherwise, could've been so great as Death Cab is one of my favorite non-electro outfits |

OH MY GOD WHAT A SHOW. That is the best show I have ever gone to, out of Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver. Jody was absolutely unbelievable and played such a journeyful set ranging from deep progressive to breakbeat to uplifting.. I was just in heaven the whole time, I couldn't move from the front haha. I was so dedicated to going that I got back into my rental car at 3:30, drove my friend home to UBC and then drove straight to the airport, slept in the car for 2 hours and got on a plane to Ottawa at 8am. The plane itself was a 10 hour flight cus I stopped over in Calgary and Toronto too.. I'm freakin dead here right now haha.. what I do for hockey. Seriously though.. Jody made my month, and I can't WAIT for the May Way Out There set to come onto hybridized so I can fall in love with Deadmau 5 - Jaded once again.
http://www.sleepdep.ca/promo/3.jpg - I LOVE IT!! that's me with jody.. I loved how intimate it was.. I mean that unreal Deadmau 5 - Jaded track he played.. I loved how I could just ask him 'what was that??' and he gave me the cd to see.. what a guy.. I have the utmost respect for him. |
