| Right i have just bought a new PC. The card I have fitted in it is a 7500le and looks pretty weedy (i.e. no fan on it) but it claims to have 512mb RAM, which im assuming is that turbocache . I have tried to find some specs regarding it but it seems thats its a HP/Compaq OEM specific card or something. Anyway, i also have aquired a 7300gs with 256mb RAM. Any ideas on which is the better card to have in there? |

The Nvidia card is probably better but I believe it also has the turbocache feature which shares your system RAM with the card.
You'd be much better off upgrading to a 7600GT like this one:

It's factory overclocked and should be incredibly fast. |

| Stay way from the le ones. Those use something called turbo cache. It means it will use your system's memory as additional Vram for the video card. Cards that are in the GS or GT range are fine. I'm using a Geforce 7300GT 256MB PCI Express card. |

| Get a 7600GS/GT card, much better performance for alittle more and dont hog your system ram. |

| I understand the turbocache uses my RAM but i have 2gb RAM so its not really an issue. Also i know i can buy a better card, but all im arsed about is which of the two i have is better?? |

What do you plan on running, also are you asking which is better just out of the 7500le and the 7300gs? If you plan on getting a new card, whats your price range?
Personally, if the 7500le has 128 bit memory....then it will do tons better than the 7300 gs which only has 64-bit memory and 4 pixel pipelines.
Again it is all relative to what you are gonna run, for ANY modern game both of these cards will be lucky to get you at 800x600 resolution with low settings :toothless |

| long story but i now have the 7500le and a x1300, and have come to terms with the fact they are equally wank, especially considering i have a 20" monitor running at 1680 x 1050 res. So ill just them both off and get a 7900gt or something! |
