"CROSSTOWN " Toronto's New Electronic Music Nightclub!!

Okay folks here's the news. House trance and techno fans get an impressive new home."CROSSTOWN"
This March a new Club is opening in Toronto. The city is in dire need of a new venue and a venue that supports eletronic music properly. Set to open the first few weeks in March this 500+ person afterhours venue is built with a custom freefloating hardwood dancefloor and top of the line Custom JBL Audio rig/sound system. On top of that this venue is below ground which means it can go really late and loud and has a loftish system soundbar feel to it. And best of all it is owned and operated by Rene of Blackmarket. If you are not familliar with Rene he was responsible for many parties at sudbury99 and various other big artsits events including everyone from Jeff Mills to Steve bug.
Very Impressive bookings are already underway and lookout for the grand opening some time in March. Ill a can say is that I was at the venue to check it out this week and Toronto is in for a surprize.
I suspect this venue will be the new home of some of the best house and techno events in the country and finally we have a club owner who knows music. Ill post the official press release when I get it. |

its means that the floor has a give. It's kinda bouncy/soft so you can dance a long time and your back dosen't hurt... |

Awesome news! If (and when) Sonic closes down, I'll be needing a new place to move into. I like what I'm hearing...about he floors, the owner's involvement in the 99 Sudbury parties. Oh yes! :D
