the same reason why people read threads with the title tiesto....Armin is the next Tiesto.....all you worshipers will soon be haters....I am just ahead of the curve. |
despite how u feel armin has nothing to do with tiesto. people shouldnt judge dj's by how much other people like them or how popular they are. You say your ahead of the curve like its cool to either dislike or like a dj or something. if you feel dj's are trends then you are looking past the music.
Tiesto isnt popular anymore and everyone follows each other to dislike him. who cares what other people are doing. so stop caring who likes armin why or whatever else.
not everyone is a dj worshipper cause they like a dj. some people like armin's style and the music he plays. this is tranceaddict why wouldnt people on this site like armin van buuren. if a dj rocks a party and u leave with a smile on ur face hes a good dj. obviously armin has done this for many people.
i dont know whats with all the negativity in the dance music scene. there are people who only like music because its underground or unknown. people think it matters to look for the new style for music or the new dj or whatever. they are trying to feel superior to other dance music listeners for some reason. al this just goes against what dance music is about anyways which is partying, having fun, unity, if ur into it drugs. we divide ourselves cause one person like techno another like trance. this scene is getting ed up is u ask me. |

and I hope you all have a great time at AVB. I am really excited about this event too....the sooner it gets here the sooner it will be over and then there will be a good two week break before people start talking about the next time he is here......its not just AVB that I dislike but the amount of DJ worshiping that goes on in general.....have fun...enjoy the music...enjoy everything about the night.
If I feel like bashing a DJ that bores the hell out of me then I have as much right to do that as you do to think he is gods gift to the world of music.
oh and by the way...I am at home so going home will be difficult |
If people want to worship a DJ, then so be it. People worship all different kinds of people, so why do you get all fired up over people praising a DJ? This is an EDM site, so let the "worshipers" bang on about how much they love their EDM DJ's. Are you going to go on The Rollling Stones website and tell them that they're all idiots cause they worship The Stones?? Don't think so. I just think you're way too pesimistic, especially when people are really excited about this party and it's possibly their first time seeing Armin, then they come across one of your posts. And yes I know I (or anyone) could hit the ignore button, but I don't find all of your posts usless, just the DJ bashing ones. |

You make a valid point, but when people spend countless hours upon hours listening to EDM they began to be particularly picky in terms of what sound they enjoy and what sound gives them that feeling that you get from the music. When you start listening to EDM its all amazing and new, but the more you spend time listening to it you realise that some stuff is much better quality then other stuff.
Now if Chemistry feels that way about armin then its fine, Im sure his taste is for something different. Im personally not a huge armin fan either but im gonna be there just for the sake of a good after exams celebration. |
