I have a bit of an ackward question and please don't turn this into a debate.
I am trying to gather the most significant lies that have been said from all Us presidents throughout the last 20 years or so. Not looking at the gravity of the lie but something that made a clear mark on their time while they were in power.
So far I have thought of:
Bill Clinton - Lewinsky, Bush 9/11/Iraq

Reagan lied about Contras
Bush I lied with "Read my lips: no new taxes"
Clinton lied about Lewinsky
Bush II: almost everything that falls out of his mouth is a lie: the most famous one of his legacy will be Iraq.

I'm starting to think I'm retarded. :|

Well I don't want a huge list or anything :p
And what I meant was him saying Iraq was linked to 9/11 and he later retracted his statement ( well deep into the conflict ):
Just to give a little bit more info on why I want to know this is because I am wanting to create a so called "video art" piece on the legacy of lies in the Us Presidency throughout the last 20 years or so.
If you guys can think of anything else as big ( or having had such an impact on the presidents ) as the Lewinsky Scandal, Iraq etc please tell me if you think it could fit into what I want.
I'm thinking perhaps scratching the 20 years idea if I can't find something major for all the presidents in the last 20 years and expand to the biggest incidents since perhaps as far back as G. Washington.
Things like the Watergate scandal, Iran-Contra affair etc
