| Judging by the 360 virtual tour only, my guess is that you'll be walking into a giant echo chamber. The dead giveaway is the polished concrete floor. |

you know it's exactly like those PNE raves. If you're not
directly in front of the speakers then all you get is echo.
I'd acctually like to hear an opinion on this from some serious
sound geek that has experiance in this field. Wondering if
it's even possible in case of such spacious venue.
Knowing Twi$ted probably nothing will be done other then
couple of extra lasers to burn your retinals out and a giant
smoke machine to sufficate you. |

^ You guys are sooo harsh.
Why be so hard on Twisted, they are the heart of electronic music in our City. If it was not for twisted we would most likely never see any of the big name DJs or at least not as often.
And lets not judge the sound till it is heard.
I for one am very excited about seeing the new venue and have always had a good time at AVB.
I am sure Twisted will do what they can to improve the sound if needed.
Don't have such high expectations and you will not be disappointed.
Bring ear plugs if you have sensitive ears to echo, and drink a lot; that should do the trick even if the sound is not so great. I know the beats will be.
Lastly if you don’t like the venue don’t come. |

HAHA,
Yah I don't love the price tag, far from it specially since I have seen 5-6 headliners for that price in Toronto and Vegas, but then the place those events are held such as Government club in TO, hold 10 times the number of people so promoters can charge less per head I guess.
And to be honest everything costs more in Vancouver, heck even food costs more. |
