I just recently bought a M-audio Oxygen 49 midi controller. Feels great only im not sure on how to assign knobs, sliders, and buttons. It came with no manuel. Looked one up online, no help. I use FL studio, currently have version 5. I want to be able to like set a slider or knob to control cutoff on the vst. Now my friend said it was as easy as right clicking VST knob and hitting "midi learn" then moving knob or slider i want to assign it to. Didnt work, looked it up online, said same thing that it should be that easy. \
Does anyone else have one to help me out, or just any
ideas? Thanx. |

I just got that one too so I think I can help ;)
So you have installed the drivers and switched the keyboard on I guess.
Then start FL. Click options>midi settings. In the category "midi Input" you should see something called "Axiom In 1". Select it, then click on the "activate" button below. Now everything should work properly. |

| This is something you should look up in the FL studio help, not in the midi controller guide. You assign stuff in the plugin menu. If it is an fl studio plugin you can access the settings directly by right-clicking the knob or whatever it is you want to assign. |

Assigning midi parameters in almost any VST works like this:
Twist a knob you want to link to a slider or some other knob on the controller. Then click the small "power plug" icon in the top left corner of the VST window. then choose last tweaked parameter -> link to controller...
now you just got to twist the knob or whatever you want to assign. It should work now. ;) |
